Since the arrival of Alberto Gilardino, Pazzini has lost his first-team place at the Serie A club, prompting him to have make-or-break talks with manager Cesare Prandelli, demanding he get more starts. [LNB]After an injury-hampered season for many of his players - including Yakubu, James Vaughan and Louis Saha - Moyes needs to strengthen his forward options. [LNB]According to the Mirror,[LNB] he will face competition from both Sampdoria and Palermo. [LNB]West Ham manager Gianfranco Zola had expressed a keen interest, but owing to the club's financial problems the Italian is limited in his options. [LNB]The Mirror also suggests that Fiorentina may only consider loaning Pazzini out until the end of the season, with a view to reassessing the situation in six months time. [LNB]Twenty-four-year-old Pazzini joined Fiorentina in 2005 and has scored 24 times in 96 appearances. [LNB]He is yet to receive his first senior international cap, but will always be able to say that he made history when he scored the first ever goal at the new Wembley stadium in March 2007. [LNB]Ahead of the transfer window opening, Moyes is also said to be targeting Wolves forward Sylvain Ebanks-Blake and Paris St Germain's Fabric Pancrate. [LNB]
