Everton Eye Cup Success

Everton's top goalscorer Tim Cahill believes his side have "a massive chance" of upsetting Manchester United in Sunday's FA Cup semi-final at Wembley. Cahill was on the losing side against United in the 2004 final when he was with Millwall. And he said: "I have been there before and it was an amazing experience and hopefully I can have that experience again. "Everyone says it is a good time to play them, but they have overcome a lot of their hiccups and at any stage of the year they are a hard team to play against. "But anything can happen. Deep down inside, I believe we have a massive chance. "We have beaten some big teams to get to this stage. We have had it hard so far and won through, so why not continue in the same way against Manchester United. "We have got a momentum to our game and great passing play. Goals are coming from all over and the defence is solid." And equally as confident is record signing Marouane Fellaini, who has already scored against Manchester United this season, back in October when the sides drew 1-1 at Goodison Park. He said: "We have done well to get to the semi-final but we are striving to make sure that we will be back at Wembley next month. "We have been growing in belief and it would be a fitting reward for the way we have worked as a squad through difficult times to turn the season around, if we went on to win it. "It would be a dream if I scored the winner on Sunday but it is not about me. It doesn't matter who scores. "But we are happy with our form, we are working hard and we know anything is possible if we play to our very best." He added: "The day I scored against United was special, that goal really set me on the way at the club. It kick-started my season and I remember that we put in a great performance. "This will be a different context now, and we can go for it a little bit. It is not the league where United have been doing so well through the season. "Recently they have had a couple of defeats and maybe we can take some advantage. We have to remember, though, that it is still Manchester United. We know the quality of their squad and the players that they have got. "But anything can happen in a semi-final. It is a one-off occasion and if we work as hard as we can and play as well as we have been doing, we can get past them. We respect them but we do not fear them."
