Everton boss Moyes backs inspirational Neville to become top Toffees coach

David Moyes has revealed Phil Neville's pivotal role in Everton's[LNB]continuing success and backed him to become an integral part of Goodison Park's coaching set-up.[LNB]While brother Gary claimed on Friday he could not imagine playing for anyone other than Manchester United[LNB], Phil, 32, was being hailed as the cornerstone of Everton's blueprint for success, nearly four years after a £3.5million move from Old Trafford.[LNB]A dependable midfield anchorman on the pitch, the versatile former England defender has become even more influential off it to become a mentor for Everton's players.[LNB] Born leader: Everton midfielder Phil Neville is an inspiration to the club's youngsters[LNB]Manager Moyes has the utmost trust in his skipper's ability to maintain dressing room unity and revealed his lifestyle and commitment made him a role model for emerging youngsters such as Jack Rodwell and Dan Gosling.[LNB]'I know top players like Phil sometimes don't make managers, but he has all the attributes to go on and become a top coach,' said the Everton boss ahead of Sunday's game at Newcastle[LNB].
