Everton boss David Moyes set to swoop for Monaco striker Dieumerci Mbokani

Everton are to revive their interest in Monaco striker Dieumerci Mbokani as the French club try to strike a deal for Manchester City's Emmanuel Adebayor.

Talks were ongoing last night as Monaco tried to finance a £9million transfer for the City striker.

Monaco are looking to recoup some of their outlay by loaning out Mbokani. Hoffenheim and Sunderland have also shown interest.

Monaco also look set to disappoint Blackburn after they offered £2.75m for Newell's Old Boys striker Mauro Formica. The 22-year-old is heading to the principality for talks.
