Help: Tim Cahill yesterday admitted Everton are in desperate need of reinforcements, but he could soon be joined at Goodison by Maxime Lestienne[LNB] Everton are looking to beat Manchester City to the signing of teenage midfielder Maxime Lestienne. [LNB]The 17-year-old Belgian has been invited for a  two-day trial at Goodison Park according to Hans Galje, the caretaker manager of Lestienne's current club Excelsior Mouscron. [LNB]Lestienne has shone in the Belgian league, after coming through his club's youth system, sparking interest from the likes of PSV Eindhoven and Anderlecht as well as the Barclays Premier League clubs. [LNB]Mouscron could be forced to let go of their prized young asset because of their financial situation - even though the young star has become a regular, making 15 appearances and scoring three goals. [LNB]But Galje was defiant despite Everton's interest, saying: 'I know Lestienne has been asked to come and visit Everton for a couple of days, but they can take a place in the waiting room. There are an incredible amount of clubs interested in this guy. I understand Maxime won't leave Mouscron soon.[LNB]'The invitation of Everton is to show him the stadium and that's not that strange. But first Maxime wants to take a look and then Mouscron will have to be asked permission for that to happen.' [LNB]Lestienne's contract with Mouscron is understood to run up to 2012. He is believed to be comfortable playing anywhere across midfield.[LNB] Subotic flattered by City talk but insists he's happy at Dortmund We need help!
