Everton agree January deal for Azerbaijani boy wonder Araz Abdullayev

[LNB]Talent: Araz Abdullayev (left) in action for Azerbaijan U21's against England last year[LNB]Everton have agreed terms with Azerbaijan teen sensation Araz Abdullayev, his club Neftchi Baku have confirmed.[LNB]The 18-year-old midfielder will start on an initial three-year contract, with the option for two more seasons, when the transfer window opens in January.[LNB]The move is subject to a work permit, but his status as an emerging talent who was capped internationally at just 16 stands in him good stead and Neftchi expects no problems.[LNB]Sportsmail first revealed Everton's interest in July and Neftchi say an agreement was reached after talks at the weekend.[LNB]Abdullayev has signed a preliminary agreement, which should be formalised in the next 10 days, and his club will only receive a substantial fee if he catches the eye in England.[LNB]Neftchi vice-president Tahir Suleymanov said: 'We did not plan to earn from Araz Abdullayev because our concerns are about the development of Azerbaijani football.
