Everton 3 West Ham 1: Saha plans to show his old pals a cup final medal

Louis Saha is so pleased to be fit and scoring goals again that he is already talkingabout comparing winners' medals with his former Manchester United team-mates.[LNB]The striker staked his claim for a starting berth in Everton's FA Cup final team to face Chelsea on May 30 by scoring twice.[LNB]As the Premier League's French sicknote, Saha could be forgiven for a more pessimistic outlook but he insists that he has never lost faith in another injury-plagued campaign.[LNB] Louis Saha scores from the penalty spot for Everton[LNB]He said: 'I did, honestly, imagine that the season could end like this for me because ofwhat Everton have. They've got a great team spirit, great players, everyone works hard ... all the ingredients are in place.[LNB]'I feel it's coming together for me at last. Wherever you are, whatever club, you want to be there with a smile on your face and I have again now.[LNB]'Unfortunately injuries have been too big a part of my story for a few years now, but the main thing is just to come back and score goals.[LNB]'I'm really pleased United won the Premier League. I still have a lot of good friends at the club and it would be great at the end of the season if we could show each other our winners' medals.'[LNB]Saha left Old Trafford last summer hoping for a change of fortune but has started just nine league matches for Everton.[LNB]Boss David Moyes has hinted he may only be used as an impact substitute at Wembley despite on-loan Jo being cup-tied.[LNB]But, considering his latest fitness setback was a hamstring injury that was supposed to repair in four weeks and took three times longer, it would be a relatively minor blow.[LNB] Joseph Yobo scores Everton's second goal against West Ham at Goodison Park[LNB]Saha said: 'Being out for so long was really, really hard. It's terrible when you think it's only a small injury but then it turns into one which keeps you out for a while.[LNB]'From my point of view, it's great to be scoring goals again. The confidence is right back and that's a big thing for every player.[LNB]'I feel I am approaching full fitness now. It's been a long time, but at least I will be fresh for Wembley.'[LNB]Steven Pienaar was Everton's creative and driving force and Moyes claimed he has taken up the mantle of injured playmaker Mikel Arteta.[LNB]But, after Radoslav Kovac's 30-yard strike gave West Ham a surprise 24th-minute lead, Saha - who scored twice at Upton Park last November - stole the spotlight.[LNB]His first goal was a confidently converted penalty after James Tomkins' red card for a trip on Tim Cahill changed the game shortly before half-time.[LNB]Joseph Yobo added a second for Everton soon after the break and Saha tapped in his second from close range in the 76th minute.[LNB]Everton's win lifted them above Aston Villa into fifth place and ruled West Ham out of contention for a Europa League place.[LNB]But manager Gianfranco Zola is confident they will make up for it next season. He said: 'The players will have more experience and I am absolutely positive that we will be much better.[LNB]'I think we have money to spend and if we need to buy a player we can.'[LNB] Everton 3 West Ham 1: All the action as it happenedLeague spot beats Cup win for Everton boss MoyesEVERTON FC
