Everton defender Sylvain Distin has paid tribute to Phil Jagielka, describing him as a 'great player' who 'has the full package'.[LNB] Jagielka missed a large chunk of last season due to injury but has undoubtedly been one of Everton's star men in recent years.[LNB]His performances have reportedly attracted admiring glances from elsewhere, with Arsenal thought to be interested in acquiring his services.[LNB]David Moyes is sure to fight hard to keep Jagielka if any potential suitors step up their interest, and Distin wants to continue his defensive partnership with the 27-year-old.[LNB]Distin rates Jagielka so highly that he is convinced the Sheffield United man would have been in England's World Cup squad had he played more games last season.[LNB]"Everyone knows Jag's quality and he is a great player," Distin said in the Daily Star. "The only reason he wasn't in the national team was because he didn't play a full season due to injury.[LNB]"He has the full package. I have a good chemistry with Jags on the pitch."[LNB]
