CSKA Moscow have denied claims that the club have received an offer for defender Sergei Ignashevich. On Friday, CSKA president Evgeny Giner allegedly stated that the Russian side had received "a very interesting offer from abroad". The quote led to reports suggesting Everton were lining up an offer for centre-back Ignashevich. However, Giner has rejected that he made such a claim and has stressed CSKA have yet to be approached about the 29-year-old. "According to some media sources PFC CSKA has an interesting offer for Ignashevich, and I told the media about it," Giner told the club's official website. "This is not true. We have no offers for Ignashevich currently so I didn't give any comments over Sergei, neither to local nor to international media."
