Coleman's keen as mustard for win
Seamus Coleman has urged his Everton team-mates to ignore any talk of a season of struggle at Goodison and focus on beating Birmingham.[LNB] The Toffees are bottom of the Premier League with three draws and three defeats by their opening six fixtures, but Coleman is shutting out the doom merchants.[LNB]Instead, the Republic of Ireland Under-21 international right-back is solely concentrating on the bid for victory on Saturday at St Andrew's, where Alex McLeish's men are unbeaten in over a year.[LNB]He told the club's official website: "I'd like to forget about what's going to happen at the end of the season and just start winning.[LNB]"You don't want to be looking towards the end of the season before you've kicked a ball because anything can happen in football. You need to take each game as it comes.[LNB]"Every game in the Premier League is tough, and you have to treat the lower teams the same as the top teams. Look at West Brom beating Arsenal at the weekend."[LNB]Coleman is adamant that one win can spark a recovery for David Moyes' side.[LNB]"One win gets a bit of confidence back," said the 21-year-old, who started the 0-0 draw at Fulham last time out. "Football is a lot to do with confidence, and wins will give us more of that.[LNB]"If we can put a good run together then people start changing their tone - three or four games unbeaten, and you're flying."
