Coleman hails 'motivator' Holloway

Everton's Seamus Coleman has thanked Blackpool chief Ian Holloway for helping to nurture him into a Premier League footballer.[LNB] The 22-year-old has been a revelation for the Toffees this season, becoming an integral part of David Moyes' plans.[LNB]He starred in Sunday's 2-0 victory over Liverpool in the Merseyside derby and is tipped to have a bright future at Goodison Park.[LNB]Coleman, who was snapped up by the Toffees for just £60,000 from Sligo Rovers in January 2009, has undoubtedly benefited from plying his trade at a club with a history of giving young talent an opportunity to shine.[LNB]He has, however, also progressed at pace since taking in a loan spell at Blackpool last season, under the careful guidance of the ebullient Holloway.[LNB]He helped the Seasiders to secure promotion into the Premier League and has hailed the time he spent at Bloomfield Road for helping to make him the player he is today.[LNB]"Ian Holloway has really helped me and my career," said Coleman.[LNB]"I learned a lot from him, he's a good motivator, and I have to thank him for giving me an opportunity to play.[LNB]"I got experience and am looking forward to kicking on from here."
