Caldwell - Moyes one of the best
Steven Caldwell has hailed fellow Scot David Moyes as one of the best managers in the world.
The Burnley skipper has lost his battle to recover from a groin injury and play against Everton at Turf Moor on Sunday.
However, his absence will do nothing to dim the admiration he has for Moyes, a former boss at nearby Preston.
"Obviously everybody speaks about Sir Alex Ferguson on a daily basis and talk of him as the greatest manager of all time," said Caldwell.
"But David Moyes is one of the best in the world right now.
"He has to operate at the highest level on a budget which is far below that of the clubs they are trying to compete with. Yet he consistently gets his teams to phenomenal positions in the league."
