`Bily' needs time

Everton manager David Moyes does not expect to see the true quality of winger Diniyar Bilyaletdinov for some time yet. The £9million signing has made six appearances since his August move from Lokomotiv Moscow and has already had a significant influence, creating three of the four goals in the Europa League victory over AEK Athens. But Moyes believes the 24-year-old Russia international is a long way from fulfilling his potential. "In truth, it could be six months or even next season before he's totally right. But the situation we've got at Everton means we've got to play him," the Toffees boss told the Liverpool Echo. "From that point of view, maybe it will help him in the end. I think the games that are coming up he will be more than likely put in, and he'll have to pick up the pace a little bit. "The Russian boy at Chelsea (Yuri Zhirkov) will take a time to settle and get used to it, and it will be no different for `Bily'."
