EVERTON should take a lot of confidence from the convincing Carling Cup victory over Huddersfield in midweek.[LNB]It was really pleasing to see five different attacking players get on the scoresheet. [LNB] Show Caption nullnullnullnullnullnullnullnullnullnullnullnullnullnullnullnullnullnullnullnullnullnull I know it was against lower league opposition but it's always a relief to get off the mark for the season.[LNB]The most satisfying part was the performance of those young players who haven't had a chance to shine in the Premier League so far this season. [LNB]Jack Rodwell and Seamus Coleman were excellent, while Magaye Gueye showed some flashes of class and produced a wonderful cross for the opening goal.[LNB]It was no surprise to see Rodwell and Coleman play so well because we all know they are two stars of the future. [LNB]But to come in and grab their opportunity like that showed real quality and character.[LNB]They are both knocking hard on the door ahead of tomorrow's league trip to Villa Park.
