Barry Horne: Despite all their draws, young can’t compare Everton FC to Sunderland

10 November 2012 00:00
HAVING drawn their last four games, Everton appear to be in a similar rut to Sunderland but take those results in isolation. Wigan was probably the poorest display of the season but then at QPR they were reduced to 10 men due to an appalling decision, a draw in a derby game can never be viewed as a bad result and the Fulham game was a freak result after Everton produced one of the performances of the season of anybody in the Premier League. I’ve seen Sunderland four times live this year and they’re a strange side and don’t really have any flair. Swansea outplayed them only for them to somehow get a draw while they only managed a couple of tame efforts against Aston Villa. Related stories From around the web Related Tags
