Leighton Baines hailed Everton's performance as the Toffees held Chelsea to a goalless stalemate at Stamford Bridge.[LNB] The Toffees created plenty of chances in a game which was a dress rehearsal for next month's FA Cup final, with Baines having a good penalty shout turned down after appearing to be caught by Alex.[LNB]Baines believes this draw, coupled with the victory over Manchester United on Sunday, gives Everton every confidence for the cup final.[LNB]He told Sky Sports: "I think we pushed Chelsea really close tonight.[LNB]"We knew it would be tough after the weekend, but I thought our work rate was really good.[LNB]"The result is good confidence wise, but the final will be a different game.[LNB]"It does give us a confidence boost ahead of that game and we know that we can play against these sorts of sides."[LNB]Speaking about the penalty shout, he added: "I think I was clipped, but the ball was out of my control so I can understand that it wasn't awarded.[LNB]"We did create a few chances. We looked to hit them on the counter and we did that well."[LNB]
