Atletico and Fiorentina ready to pounce as Pienaar snubs new Everton deal
Steven Pienaar has rejected a new Everton contract.
The 27-year-old, who has attracted interest from Atletico Madrid and Fiorentina, figured in Everton's 1-0 defeat by River Plate yesterday.
Former Argentina forward Ariel Ortega scored the only goal and Everton boss David Moyes said: 'I almost clapped it myself.'
