Anichebe: received apology

Victor Anichebe has received a personal apology from Cheshire Police Assistant Chief Constable Garry Shewan after the Everton

player was questioned by officers while looking in a jewellery shop window.

CCTV operators thought Anichebe and his friend were acting suspiciously. The striker said he believed they had been stopped because they are black but Cheshire Police 'robustly' refuted this.
