Everton midfielder Mikel Arteta is not about to move to Real Madrid, according to the Spanish star's agent.
Recent reports in Spain linked the 25-year-old with a move to Real, but Inaki Ibanez insists there has been no contact with his client.
Arteta has been one of Everton's key players in the last two seasons, but it has been reported in the past that he is being overlooked by Spain coach Luis Aragones because he is not playing in his homeland.
Ibanez told Marca: "No-one from Real Madrid has come to us.
"But it is normal that a great club is interested in Arteta because he is doing very well."
Arteta, who recently signed a new long-term deal at Goodison Park, has scored 13 goals in 98 appearances for David Moyes' side.
