Everton star Mikel Arteta insists everyone is working hard at Goodison Park in their bid to turn around the club's poor start to the season.[LNB] Everton are surprisingly at the bottom of the Premier League ladder after failing to win any of their first six games.[LNB]The Toffees drew with Fulham last time out and while Arteta was pleased with their first clean sheet of the campaign, the Spaniard felt they should have claimed all three points.[LNB]David Moyes' men tackle Birmingham this weekend and Arteta is expecting to come up against a well-organised Alex McLeish-trained side.[LNB]Everton's performances have not been helped by uncharacteristic mistakes but the Spaniard believes by tightening things up and being more clinical in front of goal they will get their campaign up and running.[LNB]"You try to do everything you can to get better," he told the Liverpool Echo. "Every single detail at the moment is really important, so that's what we're working on.[LNB]"It's very frustrating to see yourself in that situation and I don't believe that we deserve to be where we are at the moment, but that's football sometimes, so we need to keep doing things right, and keep improving on what we've been doing really well.[LNB]"We were disappointed after the Fulham game; I think we should have won the game. We controlled it really well, and we kept a clean which was the first time this season, so hopefully we can build from there and get the three points on Saturday.[LNB]"Birmingham are really organised, they work really hard to get that, and it's a tough ground to get the three points - but it's not going to be an easy game for them as well.[LNB]"We know we need to kill the mistakes at the moment and we need to get better in both boxes.[LNB]"Everybody is really committed. All the players are really aware of the situation and we want to put that right straight away. So I think the commitment is there.[LNB]"It is really important that we win before the international break and we've got the derby coming up later on, so it's a massive game for us[LNB]"We don't want to go into that without enough points and it can be different winning on Saturday or losing it, so it shows how massive this game is going to be."
