ShareArsenal have revived their interest in Everton central-defender Phil Jagielka.[LNB]Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is a huge admirer of the England international and failed in his attempts to sign him last summer.[LNB]But the Frenchman is preparing another move to land the 28-year-old after the Gunners contacted the Goodison Park club about his availability.[LNB] On his way? Phil Jagielka is wanted by Arsenal[LNB]An Everton source told Sportsmail: 'We have had major interest in Jagielka ahead of the next transfer window. But it will take a huge offer for the club to let him leave.' Wenger saw numerous bids - the biggest being ?15million - rejected by the Toffees last summer.[LNB]But the Gunners are primed to test David Moyes' resolve to keep Jagielka again.[LNB]However, Arsene Wenger - who is also keen on Jagielka's team-mate Leighton Baines - will have to improve on last year's offers to lure the defender away from Merseyside.[LNB]Jagielka signed a new four-year contract in March and Moyes has earmarked him as a future skipper.[LNB] Unconvincing: Laurent Koscielny's debut season has been plagued by errors[LNB]Meanwhile, Wenger revealed he will talk to England manager Fabio Capello as he looks to prevent Jack Wilshere from playing in the European Under-21 Championships next month.[LNB]Under-21 manager Stuart Pearce looks certain to select the Gunners youngster in his squad for the tournament - but Wenger feels Wilshere's preparation for next season will be affected by playing in Denmark.[LNB]'Will I talk to Capello? Yes, of course I will,' claimed Wenger. 'I will give my honest opinion but I'm not stupid enough to think I'm the only one who is right.  'I might be wrong but I give my honest opinion. Jack has hit the wall a little bit in recent weeks. We know that from our own statistics.' [LNB] 'Hit a wall': Arsene Wenger doesn't want Jack Wilshere to play for England Under 21s[LNB]Wenger also questioned Gary Speed's handling of Aaron Ramsey's return to the international fold.[LNB]Ramsey had made just one Arsenal start since returning from a horrific leg break when Wales manager Speed started him in the 2-0 defeat against England in March and handed him the captaincy.[LNB]'I feel the Welsh period came a bit early for him,' said Wenger. 'I feel it was a bit too much pressure on him after not being completely ready. He had at that stage to focus on his own shape and all the duties of a captain. [LNB] Under threat: Nicklas Bendtner's Arsenal career could be over[LNB]'I think it was a period where he needed more time to focus on his own performance and that he was under too much pressure for that.' [LNB]Wenger admitted he will hold crunch talks with Nicklas Bendtner at the end of the season to thrash out the Denmark international's future.[LNB]Sportsmail exclusively revealed last month how the striker's Gunners career was under threat as Wenger looks to wield the axe this summer.[LNB] Gunners board back Kroenke as Wenger defends ticket pricesI don't have the right to stop Wilshere playing for England, says WengerAll the latest Arsenal news, features and opinionAll the latest Everton news, features and opinion[LNB]  Explore more:People: Gary Speed, David Moyes, Fabio Capello, Jack Wilshere, Phil Jagielka, Nicklas Bendtner, Stuart Pearce, Arsene Wenger Places: Denmark, United Kingdom, Wales
