Anichebe back in the running

Everton manager David Moyes has revealed striker Victor Anichebe is available for selection against Aston Villa on Sunday.[LNB] The Nigeria-born hit-man was dropped by Moyes, despite the club not having any fit strikers, after he reportedly blasted The Toffees boss for refusing to sanction a loan move to Hull City.[LNB]Everton have since bolstered their attacking numbers following the arrival of Jo on loan from Manchester City, but he is cup-tied against Villa, meaning Anichebe is the last man standing.[LNB]Moyes has hinted the hatchet has been buried by revealing the well-built 20-year-old has a good chance of making his return to action against Martin O'Neill's troops.[LNB]Back in consideration"I will consider Victor," revealed Moyes. "He's back in the squad, he gets on with his job, he's fit. That gives him a chance of being involved.[LNB]"I couldn't give you a definite of whether he will or he won't feature."[LNB]Despite Moyes apparently forgiving Anichebe, the striker has hinted he remains disappointed the club failed to sanction his chance to secure regular football with The Tigers.[LNB]"They wanted to take me on loan until the end of the season which would have been a great opportunity to go out and play on a regular basis," he stated.[LNB]
