Adeleye in Everton claim
Sparta Rotterdam defender Dele Adeleye has claimed Everton have made a 'serious bid' for his services.
The Nigerian has previously been linked with a move to the Premier League, with a number of clubs said to be interested, but a move failed to materialise.
However, Adeleye has renewed speculation surrounding his future by stating his desire to one day play in England's highest tier.
The 20-year-old told the Nigerian daily Sun News: "There has been a lot of interest from the Premier League and I think Everton have made a serious bid in the past.
"I cannot confirm now if there is negotiations between them and my club. What I know is that I am still a Rotterdam player.
"I would really love to play in the Premier League because it has been my desire to play in the top league in Europe."
