Osvaldo eager to impress

Espanyol loan signing Pablo Daniel Osvaldo is hoping to impress after moving to Spain from Italian club Bologna.

The 24-year-old Argentinian has moved to Barcelona until the end of the season and wants to show up well to secure a longer stay.

He told the Spanish media: "I'd like to stay here, but it all depends on what you do on the pitch, so it depends on me. Hopefully I will do well so I can have the chance of staying.

"I really love it here and I am delighted. I hope to enjoy a good career and stay for a long time.

"I think Spanish football is really good and I hope to adapt really quickly. I hope to make this my league, my football and my club."
