De La Pena takes armband

Espanyol have announced midfielder Ivan De La Pena as their new captain after the tragic death of Daniel Jarque.
Jarque was named as the club's new skipper earlier in the summer but died at the age of 26 due to a heart attack during a pre-season tour of Italy.
And long-serving 33-year-old De La Pena has been chosen as the man to take the reins following the loss of Jarque.
The former Spain international has resided at the Barcelona-based club since 2002 after spells at the Nou Camp, Lazio and Marseille.
