28 October 2011 17:03
Football.co.uk is offering two lucky readers between the ages of 7 and 11 years old the chance to become a McDonald’s Player Escort and walk out with the England players ahead of their international friendly against Sweden at Wembley Stadium on 15th November.

This once-in-a-lifetime experience courtesy of McDonald’s, the official Community Partner of the FA, includes the chance to walk out, hand-in-hand, with the England team as they line up to face Sweden after their successful Euro 2012 qualifying campaign. The prize includes four tickets to the match as well as a goody bag, replica national shirt and shorts and a contribution towards travel expenses on the day for each player escort.

Last year, McDonald’s and The FA agreed a new four-year community partnership, designed to help young footballers shine. The partnership will work towards the objective of ensuring that 75% of all youth clubs are awarded FA Charter Standard status before the end of 2014, ensuring clubs are safe, supportive and fun places for young people to enjoy playing football.

Sir Geoff Hurst, McDonald’s Director of Football comments: “This is an exciting opportunity for a young football fan to walk out onto the pitch and experience the noise and atmosphere of Wembley. Standing in front of thousands before an international match is an incredible experience and I wish everyone who enters the best of luck.”
