Welbeck looks good in Krakow training

England enjoyed a low-key public training session in Krakow Friday as they prepared to open their campaign against France next week.

Around 2-3,000 local supporters warmly applauded Roy Hodgson's side as they were put through their paces in a leisurely session at the home of local club side Hutnik Krakow.

England's strikers meanwhile warmed up for Monday's Group D opener against France in Donetsk with some target practice which saw Danny Welbeck and Wayne Rooney - who is suspended for the first two group matches - looking particularly sharp.

But Andy Carroll was less impressive however, sending one shot ballooning way beyond the protective netting erected behind the goals.
