Born in Cardiff to shop workers Kim and Roy Bux, Danielle grew up in Wales before embarking on a modelling career.
At 18 she won a place in the Miss Hawaiian Tropic contest in Las Vegas but with the offers of work not flooding in, she trained as an air stewardess and began working for Virgin Atlantic.
After a short time she broke back into the modelling world, becoming one of the most recognisable lingerie models of recent years.
As the face of La Senza she quickly built her reputation, going on to adorn magazine covers including Maxim and Fabulous.
Despite a couple of failed relationships with sports stars - ex-Coventry City player Adam Willis and Scottish rugby player Simon Danielli - Bux began seeing England's all-time second top goal-scorer, Gary, in Autumn 2007.
A year later the pair announced their engagement and were married in September of 2009.
While Gary's show Match of the Day has come under criticism in recent weeks, you can be sure he's got nothing to complain about when he gets home.
