This is exactly what Paul Gascoigne achieved in the group stage game against Scotland at Euro '96.

Less than a minute after Gary McAllister's missed penalty, Gazza who tricked Colin Hendry with an excellent flick to set himself up for a volley and smashed in the winner.

His infamous dentist's chair celebration was almost as good as his goal, making it one of the most memorable goals in international history.
