Tight security for final England friendly

Almost 1,000 police officers will be on duty at England's final friendly before the World Cup on Monday afternoon following a stampede that injured at least 16 at another game on Sunday. That happened as North Korea faced Nigeria, with supporters forcing their way through closed gates into the Makhulong Stadium in Johannesburg. 12,000 people are expected to watch England take on Platinum Stars at Moruleng near Rustenburg on Monday, with those tickets mostly given to local schoolchildren for free. Jason Raine, managing director of the Stars, told Sky Sports News: "we've treated it as if it's a proper World Cup game. "The LOC [World Cup's local organising committee] were involved in the ticketing, the security are already in place, close to 1,000 police officers are involved - so all round security is high."
