John Stones is a doubt for England Under-21s' European Championship opener with Portugal due to a head injury.
One of the key men in Gareth Southgate's side, the Everton defender was due to start the Group B match in Uherske Hradiste on Thursday.
However, Stones sustained a head injury during training on Tuesday afternoon and could now miss the opening game.
The remaining members of the 23-man squad trained in Olomouc ahead of the match with Portugal and Under-21s head coach Southgate will give an update on the defender's fitness at a press conference at 1915 BST.
