Poll Result - England on the way to Word Cup glory
England's draw for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa has football.co.uk's readers confident of ending the 44 years of hurt by winning the tournament next year.
Our latest poll asked you how far you thought Fabio Capello's men can go and a massive 42.1 per cent believe John Terry will lift the Jules Rimet trophy on July 11.
Almost half of voters feel England will make the final (49.6 per cent) with semi finals being the second most popular opinion (19.8 per cent).
England have been knocked out in the quarter finals more times than any other round and, with the probablilty of France lying in wait, 15.5 per cent feel that will be the end of the road yet again.
Despite England's group being relatively straight-forward, 9.4 per cent think it hard enough for England to be eliminated after just three games.
The USA, Algeria and Slovenia will be the first obstacle before a possible meeting with Ghana, whom 5.8 per cent believe will stop England.
England's first World Cup game will be in Rustenburg on June 12 against America and have avoided the likes of favourites Brazil and Spain until at least the semi finals.
