England's European Championship qualifier against Wales in March will be played at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff City on Saturday March 26. The Three Lions are second in qualifying Group G, but have a game in hand over leaders Montenegro. "The FAW is delighted to be taking the match to the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff as it is a world-class venue," said Jonathan Ford, the chief executive of the Football Association of Wales. "The capacity means that all of the Wales fans should be able to purchase a ticket and it also allows for the travelling England fans to have a decent quota in their part of the ground, as is agreed in the rules of the competition. "The knowledge and expertise that the Millennium Stadium has for staging such high-profile events means that we can all look forward to a great afternoon of football, played and supported in the best traditions of fairplay. The fact that this is also the 100th meeting between the two countries adds spice to the occasion."
