Man City youngster added to England squad
Kieran Trippier, the Manchester City defender, has been added to the England U21 squad ahead of Friday night's vital European Championship play-off game against Romania. The centre-back, 20, has been added to Stuart Pearce's team after the withdrawals of Micah Richards and Kieran Gibbs due to injury. Trippier is currently on loan at the Championship side Barnsley from City. England take on Romania at Carrow Road on Friday night, with the return leg in Botosoni on Tuesday, with the winning side progressing to next year's finals in Denmark.
