    Lampard able to train

    27 Mar 2007 - 12:56:21

All 23 England players were able to take part in training on Tuesday morning, including Frank Lampard, as preparations continue for the Euro 2008 qualifier against Andorra.

The Chelsea midfielder had been a doubt for the game because of a wrist injury he sustained when struck by a Wayne Rooney shot in training on Monday.

Ashley Cole is expected to return at left-back against the European minnows after missing the dismal goalless draw with Israel through suspension.

Micah Richards, who came on as a substitute on Saturday, is expected to start at right-back in place of Jamie Carragher.

Meanwhile, England boss Steve McClaren insists the players do care about playing for the national side.

England were criticised for their dire showing in Tel Aviv, particularly their perceived lack of passion.

But McClaren said: "They care. They're passionate about playing for England.

"It hurts them when they lose. It's ten times harder playing for your country than it is for your club.

"There's no problem with their attitude. They want to win. They failed on Saturday because they didn't score a goal, end of story."
