Frank Lampard has been handed his 99th England cap as the Three Lions prepare to take on Moldova at Wembley.

Having named his starting line-up on Thursday, Hodgson only had to confirm it an hour before kick-off.

Rickie Lambert makes his first competitive appearance a month after scoring as a substitute against Scotland with his first touch in international football. His maiden start comes with both Wayne Rooney and Daniel Sturridge out through injury.

Kyle Walker plays at right-back in the absence of injured duo Glen Johnson and Phil Jones, with Ashley Cole chosen over Leighton Baines on the left. Jack Wilshere partners Lampard and skipper Steven Gerrard in midfield.
