Carlo Ancelotti, the Chelsea manager, expects midfielder Frank Lampard to be fit for his club's next Premier League game - against his former side West Ham United. Lampard, 32, missed England's European Championship games against Bulgaria and Switzerland as he had surgery on a hernia problem. He suffered the injury during the 2-0 win over Stoke City last week, and will be back to face the Hammers on Saturday - having not missed any club games. Ancelotti also stressed that the surgery was just bad timing for England, and not mischievous timing by the Stamford Bridge club. "We didn't decide at the start of the season to do this now. After the Stoke game, Frank was in a lot of pain," he told the Daily Star Sunday. "So he decided, after talking to the club doctor, to resolve and remove the problem immediately."
