Jones debut for England against Montenegro

Manchester United youngster Phil Jones will make his international debut here Friday after being named to start in England's Euro 2012 qualifier against Montenegro.

Jones was picked to slot in at right back as England manager Fabio Capello relied on an experienced-looking side to gain the point his team needs to qualify for next year's finals as winners of Group G.

John Terry and Gary Cahill resume their partnership at the heart of England's defence with Ashley Cole on the left side of a likely 4-2-3-1 formation.

Scott Parker and Gareth Barry are expected to be stationed in front of the back four behind Theo Walcott, Wayne Rooney and Ashley Young.

Darren Bent was expected to play as the lone striker after Capello resisted the temptation to pick Rooney's in-form United team-mate Danny Welbeck at centre-forward.
