James tipped to face Algeria

David James is being tipped to make his World Cup debut on Friday night as England take on Algeria in Group C. James is expected to replace West Ham's Robert Green, who was at fault for the United States' equalising goal in the 1-1 draw in Rustenburg on Saturday. He was part of the England squad for the 2002 and 2006 tournaments but did not play. Now the Three Lions have moved to Cape Town to take on the African side, a game both sides know they must win to have realistic hopes of going through to the last 16. Fabio Capello, the England coach, has decided who will play in goal but will not tell even his players until two hours before kick-off. Despite that, media following England in South Africa appear convinced he has made the change. Capello has revealed one definite change - with Gareth Barry coming back into midfield having missed the game against the United States due to injury.
