James Milner to captain England against Holland

James Milner will lead England out for the first time when captaining the side against Holland on Tuesday.

Wayne Rooney's injury saw vice-captain Gary Cahill wear the armband in Saturday's remarkable 3-2 win in Germany.

The Chelsea defender is set to start from the bench at Wembley and the Football Association has confirmed Milner will wear the armband instead.

The Liverpool midfielder has 57 caps to his name and last played in October's 2-0 win at home to Estonia.
