Hodgson 'to name England squad for Euro on May 16'

New England manager Roy Hodgson will name his squad for Euro 2012 on May 16, reports said Wednesday.

The BBC reported that Hodgson would unveil his 23 for the tournament in Poland and Ukraine before the first of two warm-up friendlies against Norway and Belgium on May 26.

Hodgson will have until May 29 to make any alterations to his squad, when a final list of names must be submitted to UEFA.

England are due to gather in Spain for a four-day training camp on May 21 ahead of the Norway friendly in Oslo.

England's kick off their Euro 2012 campaign against France in Donetsk on June 11.
