Hart's World Cup hope

Goalkeeper Joe Hart is dreaming of ending an impressive season with a place in England's World Cup squad, and will find out on Tuesday if he has made coach Fabio Capello's 30-man shortlist. Hart, 23, remains a Manchester City player but has spent the season on loan at Premier League rivals Birmingham - putting in a string of good performances that looks certain to send him to South Africa. Hart has seen his reputation spar on the back of an impressive Premier League season on loan at Birmingham City. "I just hope I can get into the squad. That's been my main aim all season - to perform well for Birmingham and hopefully that will result in me getting into the shake-up at the end it," he said. "I'd like to think I'm in the shake-up when he announces the squad. It would be ideal to be in it - it would be a dream come true." Hart has only one full international cap to his name, but was part of Stuart Pearce's U21 side which reached the final of the European Championship last summer.
