Harry waits on England offer

Harry Redknapp has given another hint that he will soon be ready to take the England job.

The Spurs boss has dismissed suggestions linking him with a possible move to Chelsea, after the departure of Andre Villas-Boas.

"That's all I need! I wouldn't be able to come back to north London, so I think I'll pass on that one," he said when asked about a possible move to the Blues.

"They have top players so it's a dream job for someone to go there and make a success of it, whoever they take.

"So many people would love that job and the chance to work at a great club with the backing that the manager gets there."

These latest comments suggest that Redknapp is holding out for the call from the FA, although it is looking likely that he won't leave Spurs until after the current season ends.
