Foster signs for Birmingham

Birmingham City have completed the signing of goalkeeper Ben Foster from Manchester United. Foster, 27, has signed a four-year contract at Blues, who are believed to be paying £6million to United. Foster made 13 appearances for the Red Devils this season, but dropped to third choice keeper after losing the confidence of manager Sir Alex Ferguson. That ended up costing him any chance of being part of the England squad for this summer's World Cup finals in South Africa. He has four senior Three Lions caps to his name.
