Euro 2012: The players to look out for - England - Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Just over 12 months ago, Chamberlain was playing against Dagenham and Redbridge in the third tier of English football.

Now the Arsenal winger has been capped twice by his country and is part of the England Squad for the European Championships.

Alex Oxlade- Chamberlain has impressed this season with a good run of form and has been described by Marco Van Basten as a ‘gem’.

Chamberlain gained real recognition in the second leg of the UEFA Champions league second round against AC Milan where he looked extremely dangerous against a strong European outfit.

If he does not start for England this summer I’m sure Hodgson will be keen to use him off the bench as he is speedy, strong and has the ability to unlock defences.
