England Women have risen to a record high of fifth in the world rankings after finishing third in the recent World Cup.
The performances of Mark Sampson's side at the tournament in Canada, where they lost in the semi-finals but won a third-place play-off against Germany, have seen them climb a place in governing body FIFA's latest rankings.
They remain behind the United States, who have reclaimed top spot following their World Cup triumph, Germany, France and Japan.
