England calls for Rose and Stearman
Tottenham midfielder Danny Rose and Wolves defender Richard Stearman have been called into the England Under-21 squad for the European Championship which takes place later this month.
The pair were called up by coach Stuart Pearce following injuries to skipper Steven Taylor and Manchester United midfielder Danny Welbeck.
Pearce's youngsters face Azerbaijan in a friendly next Monday before flying out to Sweden for the tournament.
