England striker Jermain Defoe is content to continue taking his chances from the bench, having scored in the 2-1 friendly win over Slovenia at Wembley.
The 26-year-old Tottenham Hotspur frontman has scored five times in his last three international outings, all of which have come as a half-time substitute.
He said after his latest success: "Everyone wants to play, no-one wants to sit on the bench.
"But if I can come on and make an impact like I did, I'll do that.
"At the minute, everything I hit seems to be going in, I'm delighted.
"With England you are playing with good players, so you get the opportunities.
"The manager picks the team. I'll just keep working hard and see what happens."
Capello was clearly impressed, adding: "When Defoe plays in the second half he scores.
"I have to chose the side (to play Croatia). I have time to decide."
