Liverpool striker Peter Crouch believes Fabio Capello's no-nonsense style of management will be good for the England squad.
Crouch came off the bench in the second half of Wednesday's 2-1 victory over Switzerland in the Italian's first match in charge of the national side.
The tall striker linked up well with Wayne Rooney and Crouch believes Capello's approach to coaching can help bring success back to an under-achieving England squad.
"He's a manager who certainly knows what he wants. He will get his point across right from the start," admitted Crouch.
"His English was very good. That surprised a lot of the players, the fact he was getting his message across in English.
"If he had a point to make, he certainly put it across strongly. We all know where we stand.
"He's got an aura about him. When he walks into a room everyone sits up and takes notice."
