Cole doubt for France friendly
Joe Cole, the England international, is a doubt for the friendly against France with a hamstring injury. The Liverpool midfielder, 28, suffered the injury during Sunday's 1-0 win over Bolton Wanderers. The club said he is two weeks away from a return with the problem, ruling him out of this weekend's game against his former club Chelsea and the Europa League game against Napoli. England are due to take on France at Wembley on Wednesday November 17, and Liverpool would be keen for him to sit out the game.
